The Pop Star Embraces a Dark Alter Ego of Her Own Identity in Mockumentary Teaser

The Grammy-winning artist is preparing for a major cinematic onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the mockumentary titled The Moment.

Throughout the movie, the artist plays what she refers to as a twisted version of her public image.

It’s the truest representation of the music business that I’ve ever witnessed, the star remarked.

She elaborated in an interview: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept came from the expectation to produce one.

A Sneak Peek into The Project

The debut trailer, unveiled on this week, mixes actual recordings from her live performances with made-up backstage scenes.

The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by Aidan Zamiri, who revealed that the plot focuses on a scenario where the artist opted for alternate decisions in the publicity of her hugely successful record Brat.

The film is just one of numerous future screen roles for the musician, who already starred in three cinematic festival entries recently.

What’s Next

Next year will also include the artist alongside Olivia Wilde in romantic thriller I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in gallery suspense The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in horror remake Faces of Death.

Additionally, she signed on to star in Dakota Johnson’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.

Musical Contributions

The month of February will also bring the release of the filmmaker’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will include fresh tracks from the artist.

She is also set to provide music for the story Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set to be released in the coming year.

The film is set to premiere on 30 January.
